We are known as the friendly church. Come worship and take part in the fellowship at St. Mark's Anglican Church
Building relationships which focus upon the participation of all in the life of St. Mark’s church.
Reaching out to people so that they are regularly renewed in faith with opportunities for spiritual reflection, worship, education and fellowship.
Making connections in the community and around the world. We do it as we go out into our circle of family and friends, our neighbourhoods, into the world to proclaim in word and action the gospel.
Your financial contributions allows St. Mark's Anglican Church to continue to serve the community and spread the word of God.

Lent 2020
St. Mark’s is part of a diverse and growing neighbourhood with a variety of need.
Food hampers
Each Christmas season we pack and distribute over 20 food hampers to people in need in the neighbourhood. These include all the trimmings for a traditional Christmas meal plus a gift for any children in the family.
Virginia Park Elementary School
On Mondays from 7:30-8:30 am a group of 3-4 volunteers go and serve breakfast to a wonderful group of children at Virginia Park Elementary who otherwise might go to school hungry. This is part of the Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador. We also provide occasional funding to their literacy programs and give extra help to families at Christmas time.
Virginia Park Community Centre
Virginia Park Community Centre is a great neighbour of ours and we are always looking for ways that we can partner together to improve the lives of other.
The Red Cross
In the aftermath of Hurricane Igor with power outages in the area lasting for days, our vestry and outreach committee saw the need to be better prepared to respond to such emergencies. The result was a special partnership with the local Red Cross which designates St. Mark’s as a response site in cases of severe emergencies and also enables us to avail of Red Cross resources as we respond to smaller more localized emergencies.
